About Maternity Homes
Maternity homes offer resourceful residential support and supervision to women who are pregnant and in crisis as a result of the pregnancy. Maternity homes have proven to be a resource for women who are experiencing homelessness, abandonment and hopelessness as result of the pregnancy. Factors that might lead an expectant mother to a maternity home ranges from loss of income, an abusive relationship, divorce, abandonment and homelessness to name a few.
Our Maternity Home
Carried To Full Term is a nonprofit organization exists to provide long-term housing for pregnant mothers in crisis as a result of pregnancy. We provide a safe and nurturing environment for mothers to be able to care for themselves and to prepare for the birth of her baby.
Our program provides mothers an opportunity to focus on preparing to live independently and self-sufficiently.
Housing is important to the well-being and health of families. Without adequate housing, families have trouble managing their daily lives. Families without income or enough money to cover vital needs, such as food, health or utilities, are most at risk for other crisis. When housing needs are meet, families can focus more on caring for each other.
Length of Stay
Mothers admitted to our program can stay up to 24 months. During their stay, mothers receives support to help them care for their newborn, learn life skills, and get information to help them begin or complete their education. Additional resources are available to assist in seeking and maintaining employment.
